Roberto Cortez has been referred to as the “Boutique Private Chef”, setting a new standard in private entertaining. Focusing on small intimate dinners for up to 10 people, and parties up to 20 people, “detail” is the main focus on his unique style of cuisine.

Former Personal Chef to Microsoft Billionaire Paul Allen, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith and Eddie Murphy. Among others having enjoyed Roberto’s cuisine are, Bono, Peter Gabriel, Annie Lenox, Dave Stewart, Andy Garcia, Ruben Blades, Mick Jagger, Micky Rourke, Iggy Pop, Bill and Melinda Gates, Monica Seles, Dan Akroyd, Naomi Campbell and many more.

Roberto has cooked in 5 countries and often spends summers cooking in the Hamptons. Born and raised in El Paso,Tx, Roberto resides in Los Angeles, California. Studied Savory cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu, Ecole Lenotre Paris, L’Amadier “Ecole de Soleil” Mougins France, The Sushi Academy Los Angeles. Regional cuisine in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Mexico. Studied Pastries at Bellouet Conseil and Ritz Escoffier Paris, Seminar with Albert Adria, Barcelona.
